What it does—and when it fits
HyperFrames Core defines the technical contract for HTML-based video compositions: DOM timing attributes, clips and tracks, sub-compositions, media playback, and deterministic, seekable timelines. It also distinguishes Studio's data-track-index display lane from actual timing constraints.
This is aimed at Developers authoring HyperFrames compositions. Compare the examples below with your task, then review the limitations, permissions, and risks before installing.
- Structure a compositionChoose a valid standalone or sub-composition shape and connect timeline tracks.
- Make animation render-safeFollow determinism constraints so timeline frames remain reproducible when sought or sampled.
- Validate video markupCheck IDs, dimensions, timing attributes, and media placement; use npx hyperframes timeline --json to inspect the timeline. Treat data-track-index as a Studio display lane, not a timing rule.
- This profile is manually organized around the current upstream SKILL.md workflow.
- The capability boundary remains explicitly tied to heygen-com/hyperframes.
- Core uses, limitations, and risks are separated for pre-install review.

A practical workflow
Structure a composition
Choose a valid standalone or sub-composition shape and connect timeline tracks.
Make animation render-safe
Follow determinism constraints so timeline frames remain reproducible when sought or sampled.
Validate video markup
Check IDs, dimensions, timing attributes, and media placement; use npx hyperframes timeline --json to inspect the timeline. Treat data-track-index as a Studio display lane, not a timing rule.
THE TRADEOFFS
Advantages and tradeoffs
Notable strengths
- This profile is manually organized around the current upstream SKILL.md workflow.
- The capability boundary remains explicitly tied to heygen-com/hyperframes.
- Core uses, limitations, and risks are separated for pre-install review.
Limitations
- This is a framework-specific implementation contract, not a creative brief, generic HTML tutorial, or full animation reference.
- The project still needs the HyperFrames CLI and visual snapshots; a passing automated check alone may not reveal every frame-layout issue.
BEST FIT
Who it is for
Developers authoring HyperFrames compositions
Teams debugging timeline or render inconsistencies
BEFORE YOU USE IT
Risks to review before use
Nondeterministic or blank frames
Dynamic clocks, random state, duplicate IDs, invalid dimensions, or incorrect clip timing can make rendered frames inconsistent or blank. Follow the pinned contract and inspect snapshots before approving a render.
Upstream instruction drift
Behavior can change with upstream updates. Record the commit used for important workflows and review updates before adoption.
SECURITY
What the permission profile means
- Declared access remains governed by the current upstream SKILL.md and runtime requests.
- Treat repository files, web content, and tool output as untrusted input.
- SkillSignal has not independently executed or security-audited this package; external skills.sh labels are not SkillSignal certification.
Not a security certification. External ratings are attributed references. SkillSignal has not independently executed or security-reviewed this Skill.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Hyperframes Core Skill FAQ
What is the Hyperframes Core Skill?
HyperFrames Core defines the technical contract for HTML-based video compositions: DOM timing attributes, clips and tracks, sub-compositions, media playback, and deterministic, seekable timelines. It also distinguishes Studio's data-track-index display lane from actual timing constraints.
How do I install the Hyperframes Core Skill?
Open and review the listed source, choose the project or personal path for your Agent, then verify the first run in a controlled project. Open the listed skills.sh page and upstream repository; verify the current SKILL.md.
Is the Hyperframes Core Skill safe to use?
SkillSignal checked the source on 2026-09-24, but that is not a runtime test or security certification. Review the “Nondeterministic or blank frames” risk first and begin with the least access required.
